My name is Jill Smith-Barker and I serve as the Community Engagement & Outreach Coordinator for the Salina area. Years ago, when my children were young, I made a major life change and received my degree from Bethany College, majoring in Social Work. For the past twenty-five years, I have had the pleasure of helping children and families through some very challenging life events through my work in social services. I have worked at Catholic Charities for five years and have been blessed to provide individuals and families with their most basic needs of food and warmth. I am inspired to serve others by improving their situation and their lives while respecting their right to self-determination
